Eligible voters can also register to vote in the following ways:

  • First time voters (must be registered 30 days prior to the election date)
    • Use the SOS ONLINE VOTER REGISTRATION APPLICATION. Complete the required information, print, sign and mail the completed application directly to your county election office.

  • You can also register to vote when you obtain or renew your drivers license or state identification card at any of the license facilities.

Your registration is permanent unless you move or change your name.

Whether you’ve recently moved or changed your name, you can now update all your information on your voter registration record through the Texas.gov online portal

Where do I vote?

During early voting or on Election Day, you will cast your ballot in a polling location. This year, early voting will be available at the Shenandoah Municipal Building in addition to voting on Election Day itself.
